Kama`âina - Sol Bright & Johnny Noble

Hawaiian moon where tropical hula maidens
Seem to dance and croon to a native tune
I'm just a malihini haole boy
And it thrills me through and through

I love to dance like tropical hula maidens
And to move and sway that funny way
Cause I want to do what the natives do
So I can be a kama`âina, too

Aloha mai they all say to me
E komo mai they're inviting me
E inu i ka `ôkolehao
Malama pono `oe aha hana ehe hene

I've learned to say mahina mâlamalama
And they taught me to do the hula `ami hou
So, Honolulu I can always say
I'm a kama`âina to you now
