Ke Kula O Kamehameha - Words and Music by Nancy Gustafsson & Victor Rittenband

Kapâlama uka ku ki`eiki`e
Ka hale kula nui o Kamehameha

Huli aku nânâ i ka moana
Meka nani kamaha`o ma ke komohana

Hui:
Ha`aheo ha`aheo
Nâ keiki o ke kula o Pauahi
Ua mau ke ea o ka `âina i nâ `ôpio
Mau ke aloha no Hawai`i

`O ke anuenue nâ keiki ou
Me na wai ho`olu`u pili puia kou

Lo`ohia ka mana`o i ka ike `ana
I ka nani kamaha`o o Kamehameha

On the heights of Kapalama majestically stands
The grand school of Kamehameha

It faces out to the ocean,
And the wonderful beauty in the West

Chorus:
Proud, proud
The children of Pauahi's school!
The life of the land is perpetuated in the youth,
Always (with) real love (for) Hawai`i

Same as the rainbow are your children,
With colors, they cling together

My mind is overwhelmed by the view
Of the wonderful beauty of Kamehameha.
