Maunalahilahi - by Mary Robbins

No Maunalahilahi ka ke aloha
Ho`onipo mau nei i ku`u pu`uwai
Ahe waiwai nui `oe na makou
I ko hiki ana mai i ku`u alo

O ke alo keia o ka lani
Ke piha ku`i nei i ke kanaka
Noho aku makou la ho`olono
O ka hone a ke kai i ka pu`u one

Hau`oli na kini lehulehu
Ke pipi`i nei e ka wai aniani
Ha`ina kou inoa o Keaka
A he punahele `oe no makou

Affection for Maunalahilahi
Lingers in my heart
You are a treasure to us
As you approach my presence

It is as if we are in the presence of royalty
Where many gather often
We sit here and listen to the sea
As it murmurs to the sand mounds

The gatherings here are full of joy
As the crystal clear liquid bubbles
This is my praise of Jack
You are a beloved person to all of us
