Papaya Blossom
A greeting to the blossom
Of the flower of the hei
My thoughts wandering there
Make me travel back far hours

To the brink of the pure
Sweet scented waters
The pretty birdlings sip
From the heart of the flowers

Chorus:

Now I see in the beauty
The work of the dewtime
Slowly dripping each evening
So cold in the nightime
I shiver as I think of its
Clear, crystal coldness
Unlike the fond warmth
Of your bosom's sweet softness
