1970's

  • Neil J. Davidson (AL70) and Julie Robinson (ID86, Staph 88) were wed in Houston on January 10, 1998. (They met at the annual NYSCAA Business Meeting & Regional Reunion held in Chicago in August, 1996.) Neil is an actuary with Western National Corporation in Houston; Julie has a PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology, from the University of Nevada - Reno, and is employed with the Earth Observations Program at NASA's Johnson Space Flight Center.

1980's

  • Mike Dekay (MS81, Staph 82, 85, 87-88) married Judy Harman on July 20, 1997. Mike has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Colorado, and currently holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

  • Anne Chiang (SD82) was married to Johannes Boeckmann August 9, 1997 in Princeton, NJ. Anne obtained her PhD from Harvard in 1995 and is currently pursuing an MD at Cornell.

  • Wendi Johnson-Haas (MI85) was married to Tony Hass July 12, 1993 (Tony is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.) Wendi completed her medical degree at Wayne State University and presently has a fellowship in Adolescent & Primary Care/Sports Medicine at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

  • Linda Frazier Guimond (AL86) has been married since about August, 1996. Linda completed her degree in Chemical Engineering at the U of Tennessee - Knoxville and currently works for Radian Corporation in Houston, TX. Radian is an environmental consulting firm, and Linda works on obtaining permits for sampling, remediation, and construction.

  • Darcie M. Boschee (ND87, Staph 91-92) married Greg Stewart on September 26, 1996 in Charleston, WV. Darcie recently accepted a position with the Federal Bankruptcy Court. She has also been serving as NYSCAA National Secretary - since September of 1996.

  • Julie Bauer Cook (IL87) was hitched July 15, 1996. Julie is currently a student at the Kirksville (MO) College of Osteopathic Medicine - after completing an undergraduate degree in History at Northeast Missouri State U and an MA in History from Indiana University.

  • Brett Blatter (CA88) was married to Judith Katz May 26, 1996. Brett completed his MD at The Johns Hopkins University this spring and is currently a psychiatry resident at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.

1990's

  • Morning Howard McCreary (OR91) tied the knot July 15, 1995. Morning completed her degree in Biology at Reed College and is currently working on her second year with an AmeriCorps program in Trout Lake, WA (the NorthWest Service Academy); for which she receives a stipend, an end-of-the-year educational award, and "tons of satisfaction."

  • Nancy Henrickson Buset (KS92) was married to Ty Buset July 13, 1996. Nancy has a BA in Biology & Secondary Education from the Central University of Iowa

  • Aaron A. Tucker (TN93) was married May 17, 1997 to Michelle DeFord Zavitz of Houston, TX (Michelle is in the doctorial program in Physiology at USC.) Aaron completed both his undergraduate degree and his MS in Aerospace Engineering at USC. He is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force and reported to Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX in January for pilot training.
