PowerBook G4 17-inch 1.5GHz – LCD Dark Spots Problem and Power Adapter Problem

Problem #1 of 2: LCD displays three dark spots on the screen – two on the left and one on the right – which are quite noticeable when I'm using design software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Problem #2 of 2: Power adapter does not provide power and does not charge the battery. The male part which protruded from the center of the plug is missing (the end which gets inserted into the PowerBook).
