This set of web pages capture the spirit and flavor of the Year 2000 4D Summit, held in San Diego, California. Many of you reading this have never attended a 4D Summit. You are justifiably curious: is it worth my while? What will it be like? This Photo Essay will hopefully shed some light on the subject.
This Essay presents the 4D Summit as seen through the prizm of one developer's experience. This developer, while widely recognized, is self-effacing and avoids aggrandizing his reputation. So for this narrative, we will refer to him simply as Dave. This, then, is Dave's Big Adventure.
